[Notice 105, 2019 Customs on 3rd List of PSI Agencies] GACC published the third list of approved pre-shipment inspection agencies for imported solid waste as raw materials.
[10th Batch of Quota List of Solid Waste Restricted to Import Announced in 2019] On July 10th, 2019, Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Center announced 10th batch of quota list of solid waste restricted to import, approving a total of 2,124,000 tons, including 124,450 tons of copper scrap (5.7%), 306,930 tons of aluminum scrap (15%), 5,550 tons of scrap ferrous (0.3%) and 1,687,070 tons of scrap paper (79%).
[The 2nd Round of the 1st Batch of Central Ecological Environment Protection Inspection Started] According to the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the 2nd round of the 1st batch of central ecological environment protection inspection started and set up eight central ecological environment protection inspection teams, China Minmetals Corp and China National Chemical Corp together with six provincial-level regions including Fujian, Hainan, Gansu and Qinghai provinces as well as Shanghai and Chongqing will be subject to inspection on ecological and environmental protection.
