Ningbo Shimao Copper Industry Co., Ltd was founded in 2001. The company is located in the Coastal industrial park of North Yuyao new industrial district in the northeast of Yuyao city and on the south bank of Hangzhou Bay. It is in the central hub area of a traffic circle among Shanghai, Hangzhou and Ningbo, enjoying an extremely good transportation conditions thanks to those advantages of being passed through by the coastal Highway and Yuyao Avenue as well as being only 11kilometers way from Hangzhou Bay Sea-cross Bridge.
In 2005, The Company has started its second undertaking. It invested 4500 Million RMB to build a plant covering more than 300 Mu which equipped with a construction of self-supply power plant in the Coastal industrial park of North Yuyao new industrial district. Since then, it has completed its transformation from an extensive management-type enterprise to a modern enterprise.
The company currently has more than 1200 employees and has an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of electrolytic copper, 80,000 tons of copper rods and 50,000 tons of anaerobic environmental-protect copper wires in various specifications which are widely used in wires, cables, household appliances, Auto parts and IT enterprises.
