Ningbo Changzhen Copper Co., Ltd is located in Yuyao, Ningbo, Zhejiang Province in the south of the Yangtze River Delta. It has a very convenient transportation with Ningbo on the east, Hangzhou on the west and the Hangzhouwan Bridge on the north. Covering an area of 92 000(ninety-two thousand) square meters, it has a history of almost 30 years with 420 people working in different sections.

As a recycle economy enterprise, we produce mid to high-end copper alloy bars, wires, special-shape products with brass scrap as the main raw material. We import honey，barley，copper cathode, berry and candy， chiefly from the United States, Europe,South America, Australia, and other countries . In 2012, we produced 33 690.85 tons of various copper products with a sale of 33 738.2 tons, and sales revenue of 784 million yuan. We turned in various taxes and fees of 2 449.83 yuan. Our leading products, “Changzhen” environment-friendly copper, are widely used in such fields as electronics, electrical equipment, kitchen and sanitary ware, telecommunication, automobile accessory, refrigeration and fire-fighting equipment. As our products meet “ROHS” requirements, they are well sold in more than 20 provinces of the country.

In these years we work hard and have developed core competence: a scientific and complete industrial chain process of recycling brass scrap, sorting, crushing, screening, casting and processing recycling qualified products, which meets the requirements of energy conservation and emission reduction of recycle economy. It complies with both the state industrial orientation and the state laws and regulations, and it also takes the lead in the technology both at home and abroad by filling a gap in the field of recycling nonferrous metals.

As we have introduced excellent performance management model and given emphasis to process design and standard operation, our company has successfully achieved quality system accreditation to ISO 9001:2008 standard, environment management system accreditation to ISO14001:2004 standard and Occupation Health Safety Management System accreditation to OHSAS18001:2001 standard. Our copper product is also a famous brand product in Zhejiang Province.

We have developed strong research and production capability by setting up Ningbo Enterprise Engineering (technology) Center, Functional Material R&D Center of Changzhen Copper and Zhejiang University, and Research Station of Liaoning University of Technology and Changzhen Copper. We have engaged as advisors some academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and professors and authorities of copper industry from various universities and research institutes. In 2008 we expanded the technology improvement project of 50 000(fifty thousand) -ton high-fined environment-friendly recycling copper further processing, bought a series of advanced equipment, including 16MN backward extrusion machine, power frequency heating furnace, etc.. We have also directed and participated the formulation and revision of more than 10 national mandatory standards of nonferrous metal field. We have been granted 18 state patents, including 2 invention patents.
