[Total Imports of Scrap Aluminum Increased by 66.24% Year-on-year in June] The total imports of scrap aluminum was 0.1827 million tons in June, an increase of 66.24% year-on-year and 3.05% month-on-month. The imports of scrap aluminum for general trade was 0.1261 million tons, an increase of 100.69% year-on-year, an increase of 10.58% month-on-month. The imports of scrap aluminum for processing trade was 56,600 tons, increased by 20.26% year-on-year and decreased by 10.52% month-on-month.

[2019 CMRA Annual Convention Started] 2019 CMRA Annual Convention organized by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Recycling Metal Branch (CMRA) is going to be held at Shangri-La Hotel in Ningbo, Zhejiang from 7th -9th November. [Formulation Progress of Raw Materials Standards of Recycling Copper and Aluminum] CMRA participated in the formulation of the raw materials standards for recycling copper and aluminum, currently the introduction of the standard are being revised, and the Country Nonferrous Metal Standardization Technical Commission will formally open for comments in September to solicit the views of the relevant units.
