In order to further standardize the import management of solid waste and prevent environmental pollution, according to Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Solid Waste, Solid Waste Import Management and relevant laws and regulations, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, the National Development and Reform Commission and the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China have made the following adjustments to Catalogue of Solid Waste Non-restricted to import as raw material and Catalogue of Solid Waste Restricted to import as raw material:

8 varieties of solid waste, such as waste and scrap of iron and steel, copper scrap, aluminum scrap, etc. (see annex), are adjusted from Catalogue of Solid Waste Non-restricted to import as raw material to Catalogue of Solid Waste Restricted to import as raw material, and it will be effected from July 1st, 2019.

Catalogue of Imported Waste Management (Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China, Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, National Development and Reform Commission, General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China, 2017 No. 39 Announcement ) the attached catalogue is inconsistent with this notice, subject to this notice.
