On Aug., 7th, 2014, China Nonferrous Metals Association Recycling Metal Branch organized, in Yongkang of Zhejiang province, the Forum on 2014 Recycling Aluminum Technology and Market, which was co-organized by Zhejiang Yong Kang Listar Aluminum industry Co.Ltd and Lanxi Boyuan Metal Co., Ltd. About 100 industry experts and enterprise representatives attended the forum and gave advice and suggestions.

On the meeting, Zhang Xizhong, the Deputy Secretary General of China Nonferrous Metals Association Recycling Metal Branch, introduced the situation of China’s recycling aluminum industry in the first half of 2014: the recycling aluminum output were 2.35 million tons with a year-on-year growth of 2.2%; the imported scrap aluminum volume were 1.093 million tons, increased by 3.3% compared with 1.13 million tons in the same period of last year. The market took a turn for the better in the second quarter and the price of aluminum went up. The main contract of Shanghai Aluminum accumulatively increased by 10.27% till July 22nd with the new price of 14125RMB/ton, but the whole recycling aluminum industry still earned small profit and the enterprises suffered.
