2014 CMRA Annual Convention, hosted by China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA), undertaken by CMRA and supported by BIR, ISRI, IAI, Jiangsu Association of Circular Economy, Guangdong Association of Circular Economy and Resources Utilization and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Recycling Metal Institute, was successfully held in Guangzhou during Nov. 7-9th, 2014.

Mr Ren Xudong, Executive Vicve-president and Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) attended the Opening Ceremony and delivered an address. Mr Shang Fushan, Vice President of CNIA and President of CMRA, Mr. Robert Stein, Nonferrous Devision President of BIR, Mr David W. Chiao, Nonferrous Devision Executive President of BIR, Mr Ma Hongchang, Chinese Affairs Consultant of BIR, Mr Scott Horne, General Counsel of ISRI, Mr Li Shilong, Vice President of CMRA, Mr Zhang Xizhong and Ms Wu Yan, Deputy Secretary-General, Mr He Zhiqiang, Technical Director of CMRA and representatives of enterprises, experts, scholars, traders and technical serivce dealers from 40 countries attended the Openning Ceremony. The Opening Ceremony was hosted by Mr Wang Jiwei, Vice President and Secretary General of CMRA.

8 “Recycling Nonferrous Metals Comprehensive Utilization Demonstration Project” enterprises and 10 “Most Outstanding Representatives in Recycling Nonferrous Metals” in 2014 were announced and awarded certificates on the Opening Ceremony.

2014 CMRA Forum took “confidence, transformation & upgrading, innovation & development” as the theme, discussed the bottleneck industry and enterprises faced and solutions, analyzed opportunities and challenges, shared experience and davanced technology. 23 experts and enterprise representatives were invited to give speeches and exchange with participants on development and trend of domestic and overseas recycling metal industry, technology and equipment, market and capital operation.

70 companies exhibited in such four sections as “recycling metal industry trade and service”, “energy-saving and environmental protection technology and equipments”, “industrial technology and equipment” and “recycling materials application” in 5000 sq. meters exhibition area. 2014 CMRA Annual Convention is a grand gathering of achievements exhibition of recycling nonferrous metals industry and make contribution to the development, transformation and upgrading of global recycling nonferrous metals industry.
